Updates, Updates and more Updates!

Hey guys!  Sorry it's been so long!  Babies are now 10 weeks old!  They had their 2 month check up on Halloween!  Zoey was 10 lbs 6 oz and 21 1/2 inches long and Wesley was 11 lbs 5 oz and 23 and 1/4 long!  They had their shots and momma didn't like it at all!  The Dr. didn't tell me that they would get fevers, so I had my first scare as a mommy!

They are growing like weeds!  They have started smiling and cooing now too!  They go for their 4 month check up and shots again January 4th 2012!

Going out places always causes a scene.  lol  I got a lady one time that said "Oh, they aren't twins!  They don't look alike!"  I was like um yes they are twins! lol people see the twins and say "Oh bless your heart!"  I am like, yes I know I am BLESSED! 

They have been doing awesome at night!  They usually feed and then sleep for 4 hours for one feeding and then another 4 hour.  So we get pretty good sleep!  Now during the day is a different story!  They want to feed sometimes every 2 hours!  Breastfeeding is going pretty good.  I take vitamins to help me produce more milk, and pump too!  I love seeing them smile!  It makes my heart sooo Happy!  Tummy time is going okay, but they usually fall asleep pretty quick! They love their swings!  Wesley sneezes and then when hes done he smiles, its soo cute! Zoey loves to coo!  Shes always smiling and shes is finding her voice! Being a mommy is the absolute BEST thing in the world!  Well I better go so I can rest a lil bit before it's time to feed again!

Updates...

Sorry it has been soo long since I've posted!  The babies are doing WONDERFUL!  Wesley is our laid back baby and Zoey is our fussy one.  We have the best of both worlds!  I wouldn't change it for the world.  I Love them sooo much!  Its crazy how someone can love someone soo little.  Wesley is 1 pound bigger than Zoey.  Zoey looks like Daniel and Wesley looks like me :) They LOVE their swings!  I made their 2 month Dr's appointments!  We had to switch insurance companies and had to leave their other Dr. , which made me so sad, cause I LOVE her!  Well today moms friend came in from Houston so we are gonna go to the mall to walk around!  I will try to update more but I am a pretty busy momma these days! 

Wesley Wayne and Zoey Jean are HERE!

So on August 31st at 8:01 Zoey Jean was born, and 8:02 Wesley Wayne was born!  So family is over visiting and I am doing a quick update on my BEAUTIFUL BABIES!

Let me just say me and Daniel cooked up some good looking babies!!  I LOVE them sooo MUCH!

LAST DAY of being PREGNANT with the TWINS!

Today is a bittersweet day for me.  I am sooo excited about tomorrow morning I could scream it out to the world !!  I am enjoying my last day of being pregnant, but at the same time I have a lot to do.  I have to shave my legs, take a shower and straighten my hair later tonight so I look halfway decent for visitors tomorrow lol.  I am trying to get a video of my baby boy kicking but he's camera shy I think.  We have EVERYTHING ready!  Mom sterilized their bottles last night so that's done.  There is nothing in their cribs, just waiting for them to arrive home :)  I keep wandering what color eyes and hair they will have! 

My mom is gonna go with me and Dan at 5:30 am to the hospital.  Then my mom n law, sister n law, my uncle will be there about 7 am.  My daddy and other uncle and grandma will be there when I get out.  Brother, brother n law and other sis n law, niece and cousin will come later!  Dan's gonna take the babies to the nursery so everyone can see them get all cleaned up :) :)

Last NST Testing and OB appointment!!

So today was my last NST Testing and OB appointment!  My NST was at 1...but we went a lil earlier and got in! WOW!! So I got to my Dr. appointment a lil early!! I made my post pardum 2 week appointment too.  Before we went to the hospital we went to the mall to get some gowns for the hospital... so I just have to decide on a going home outfit for me. :)   We found our baby girl a Easter dress....yes its early but it was on sale lol. We went to target too to exchange some stuff. Then went to taco bell for lunch.  Man it's hot outside!  My ankles were swelling too!!  But now I am home relaxing again! 
On Friday my friend Ashley and her baby girl Emily are gonna come visit! :)

I can't believe this time next week my babies will be born.  I am soooooo excited and nervous at the same time.  I have the babies hospital bag packed :) Mine will be done that morning just have to put toothpaste and brush in it. I put the babies books in their bag because there is a section that guests can sign that come visit them. 

Thank you Jesus for everything!!!!!

We are soo ready!!

So I have my hospital bag packed..I have 1 gown, slippers, some soft socks, shampoo/conditioner, body wash and a sponge, q tips,s makeup, deodorant, my nursing cover just in case, ill put my comb and brush that morning, phone charger that morning too....just need to get 1 more gown, and I'll probably put some pants and a shirt or 2 in it too,  babies hospital bag is packed....I have 2 or 3 sets of onesies, socks, 2 receiving blankets, mittens, some bows for my lil lady, and their baby books! Yesterday me and mom set up the diaper Genie! We still need to get all their stuffed animals out of their cribs. I packed their diaper bag...not taking it to the hospital but its ready for whenever I use it first!  I put sample lotions, diaper creme, Diapers, 2 lil toys, 2 bibs, Wipes, just gotta find 2 outfits to put in it. 

12 days and counting!

35 week updates!

So we went to the hospital for NST testing.  It took forever...babies kept moving alot!! Then we went to the Ob Dr.  They took blood, weighed me, and took my blood pressure.  The Dr did the swab thing and checked my cervix.  Next week she will give me instructions for my c section!!  13 days!!

34 week updates... :)

So we went to my OB Dr. and Sonogram Dr. today :)  I am measuring at 45 weeks ! OMG  lol!!  Blood pressure is fine!  I gained a lil more than planned.  I finally found a pediatrician! My OB recommended her! 
C section still scheduled for Aug 31, 2011.  She said she would take my stitch out after she does the C- section. 

Then we went to my LAST sonogram appointment and waited almost an hour and a half!  GRRR!  But the babies are growing awesome!  Baby Boy is 6 pounds 15 oz and baby girl is 5 pounds 12 oz!!  Wow!  just 3 weeks ago they were 4p 11 oz and 3 p 11 oz!  That's why I gained alot of weight!

In 3 short weeks we are gonna be parents!!  We are WAY EXCITED!!!

I will update next weeks when I have my NST testing and go to my OB!

Last Child Birth Class

So today 12 to 4:30 I had my last child birth class.  I am soo tired now cause of it!  I lay on a mat and getting up and down to go pee has made me so sore! Glad that stuffs over with!  I only have 4 more weeks.......gosh reality is setting in!!  I so can't wait to meet my lil monkeys!! 
We have to be there at 5:30 in the morning for prep for the C section and it starts at 7:30!  So excited!  Just not excited about the pain of having major surgery!  But anything to get my babies out safe!!

NST Testing at week 33

So yesterday me and mom went to the hospital and I had my NST testing done on the babies heartbeats.  They were both being stubborn and moving around alot so it took alot longer!  Plus I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of it lol!  Then we had to go to Plano to pick out carpet for my parents house.  There was a flood and insurance is paying for new carpet for the stairs and the game room and hallway upstairs.  Then  we stopped to get lunch then came home. 

Only 4 more weeks!  Wow!  Ive been having alot of dreams lately.  One it was 7:30 all the time....that's when my c section is scheduled for lol.
We go back to the OB and sono Dr next Wednesday!!

WOW what a day!

So this morning I completely forgot I had a Dr appointment!  So I hurried up to get ready ( as fast as I can move) We got to the hospital and went up to the 2nd floor, and I was suppose to have an appointment for getting their heartbeats monitored but apparently the lady didn't know I did.  My appointment was at 10.  I didn't get back there till about 11:15.....boy was I mad!  My OB Appointment was at 11 so I didn't get there till like 12:15.  I had an appointment to get their car seats check at 12....so my mom had to do that for me.  But good news the car seats were put in the correct way!  Go Daniel!!  lol

Their heartbeats were awesome!  I am measuring way over 40 weeks now.  Dr said my stitch will come out soon!  We had to schedule the C section for 8-31-11  the other day I wanted is booked.  Oh well.  Just 35 more days till we see our babies!!  We are sooo excited!!  We go to next week to get their heart beats monitored then the next week another sonogram. This Friday the 29th I have a child birthing class to go to.  They are gonna talk about C-sections.....so I will have an idea what will be going on that magical day!

Week 31 updates

We went to the sonogram Dr today!  Babies are doing awesome!  Baby A is still breech weighs in at 3 pounds and 11 oz.  her growth is normal.  Baby B is growing a lil faster than normal.  Dr says his testosterone is taking over lol 4 pounds 11 oz!!  My Cervix still looks good but I am still on bed rest the remainder of my pregnancy.  Which is fine with me cause there is so much weight on my cervix that I would rather be lying down anyways!  We go to my OB Dr next Wednesday, get their heartbeats monitored, and their car seats checked!  Wow this is going by so fast!  We are thinking 9-1-11 for the C section!  Can't wait to see my babies!!
We have a big baby shower this weekend at the church! I am so excited to see everyone!

30 Week updates..

We went to the hospital today.  Went up to labor and delivery to get their heartbeats monitored for 20 minutes.  Both heart beats are awesome!!  Then at 11 am I went to my OB Dr.  She checked my cervix.  Baby A has been breech for a couple months now and she doesn't think she will move so I'll be having a C-Section.  We are looking at September 1, 2011 :)  Next week we go to the Sonogram Dr. I can't wait to see my babies again!  We LOVE sonogram appointments!  Babies have been very active lately.  Best feeling in the world!! 

Other news....my baby shower with my friends is on Saturday!  I can't wait!!

I can't wait to be a MOMMY!!

So in just 7 short weeks I will be a MOMMY!  It's crazy how fast this pregnancy has gone.  At first it went slow then I got put on bed rest and for some reason it started going by fast.  We have a few baby showers coming up in the next few weeks that I am soo excited about!  We have their cribs all ready to go. I took a breastfeeding class up at the hospital this past week.  I still have 2 more classes to take before they are born.

Both are parents are sooo excited about being grandparents!  On my side it's the first grand babies and on Daniel's side it will be the 2 and 3rd grand babies.  Callie our Niece turns 2 this month.  She is going to be a great Cousin. 

I always imagined what it would feel like to feel a baby kicking inside of me.  It is truly the best feeling.  Now sometimes when the boy is kicking my ribs and the girl is on my bladder it's not so fun, but just knowing that in a few short weeks I will be holding them in my arms it is all worth it!!!  I keep wandering what color hair and eyes they will have.  My husband has blue eyes, I LOVE blue eyes. But of course I will be so happy whatever color eyes they have. 

I am so thankful for my husband.  He has been there for me this entire pregnancy.  He talks to the babies, says hello when he gets home from work and bye bye when he leaves for work.  He sings to them, so do I.  My sister and brother in law got us some relaxing music for them.  I play it and it relaxes them, me too lol! 

I am just thankful for everything.  Thankful that God has blessed us with two healthy babies.  I can't put into words how I feel about that.  Thank you all for the prayers that have gone up for our precious ones.

On a funny note.....I was thinking when they start talking "momma" should be their first word!  LOL

29 week Updates...

29 weeks!

We went to 2 Dr. Appointments on Wednesday! First Sonogram appointment!  Babies are both doing AWESOME!!  Baby A- Girl- 3 Pounds 7 Ounces  Baby B- Boy- A whopping 4 Pounds!! My cervix still looks good!  Stitch is holding up.  Still on Bed rest!
Then to see my OB Dr.  She measured my belly at 35 weeks.  She said next time she will start checking my cervix. We are getting close!  I will be 30 weeks tomorrow!!  That means only 7 more weeks!! OMG! :)

Wednesday night when hubby got home he brought me some beautiful pink roses and some gummy bears!!

Family Baby Shower, cribs and Week 28 Updates...

Hey guys! 
This past Saturday we had our Family baby shower! It was a blast!  We had it at my In-laws house in Murphy!

My Uncle Tony gave us the money for the cribs.  So me and mom stopped by target on the way home saturday night and got one crib.  They only had one in stock.  So sunday Daniel put together one then they went to another target and got the other one.

 We just need our lil angels here to sleep in the cribs.  Only 8 and a half more weeks left!!

Yesterday me and my mom went to the OB Dr.  She measured my tummy to be 32 weeks but I am only 28 weeks!  We talked about delivery options.  I wanna do natural but she said it all depended on the 2nd baby.  So I will labor in a normal labor room then they will transfer me to like a c-section room just in case the 2nd baby has to be taken by c-section.  All I want is that epidural as soon as possible!! I only gained like 2 pounds this time!  Go me!  lol  Then I made an appointment for next week.  I go every week now!  It's getting closer!  Then she sent me up to labor and delivery to get their heart beats monitored for 20 minutes.

Then on the way home we stopped to get a pedicure.  Last pedicure before the babies get here!

Next week we go to the sonogram Dr. so I will update yall next week after the appointment! I hope yall have a great week and weekend!

26 week updates...

Hey guys!  Sorry its been a few weeks!

Here is me at 26 weeks!

Monday night ( June 13th) me, hubby and my momma went to the open house at the hospital.  They gave us the grand tour of the hospital.  Talked about what all will go on while we are there. Let me just say ....I am even more scared about labor now! Ha!
I got a free bag too!

We went to the OB and Sonogram Dr.'s today! 
I had to drink the yummy orange Glucose drink this morning!

It tasted OK...but then the after taste wasn't so good! Pray my test goes well!  The nurse took my blood an hour after I drank that yummy stuff!  I am measuring at 30 weeks!  My Dr. said that I would have them at around 37 weeks....which is the last weeks of August!  I go see her again in 2 weeks then after that every week!  It's going by quick!!

Then we hung around the hospital for a lil while, they were celebrating something so we got a free piece of chocolate cake lol.  We went to Plano presby for my sonogram appointment!
Babies are growing AWESOME!!! Baby boy (B) is 2 pounds 11 oz and Baby girl ( A) is 2 pounds 4 oz!!
All of their measurements are on track for 26 weeks!  My cervix looks great!  That stitch is doing it's job! I go back to him in 3 weeks....I wander how much they will grow in 3 weeks??

I found out a couple weeks ago one of my best friends, Jenny, is pregnant too!  I am so excited for her.  She has her first appointment July 5th! 

Our family Baby shower is coming up soon and we are soo excited!  I will have to sit in the lazy boy the whole time but I love it when everyone gets together! 

Other news.... I've gotta sell my mustang.  We need a car to hold the babies and another one later on.  Any suggestions on cars??

Next thing.....to find a good Pediatrician!

24 weeks updates...

Hey guys sorry it's been so long.....

We went the to the sonogram Dr. yesterday June 1st!  I can't believe how fast summer is going already!!  The babies are growing awesome!!  Baby Boy is 1 pound 15 oz and Baby Girl is 1 pound 10 oz.  It's crazy how much they have grown since I found out I was pregnant!  They couldn't get any good pictures this time so maybe next time  I will have some to show y'all!! I go to the OB Dr and the sonogram Dr again June 15th!  I have my glucose test that day....so pray it goes well. 

My parents went out of town today. A good friend of theirs brother passed away.  So they will be back sometime on Sunday! Good news....we got out of the Apartment!  my Uncle Tony loaned us the money....so we will be paying him back in payments.  They said if it gets leased they will return us the money....and we will have to apply that to another fee for breaking the lease before it's over!  I'm just glad none of it is going to go on our credit!  We are gonna get a house after the babies are born, cause right now we live with my parents, brother and cousin.  We want our own place to raise our lil monkeys in! 
I can't wait to hold my lil babies!  I am wandering what color hair and eyes they will have too!  Any guesses?

23 week Dr.appointment and updates...

So I went to the Dr. today.  She measured my tummy and I am measuring at 26 weeks!  She said that the surgery went really well and I have a nice long cervix now.  Babies heart beats are looking great!  Good news....I didn't gain any weight!!  Go ME!! 

Today I wore my new shirt my friend Amber Merritt got me for my birthday! Thanks girl!

While we were out me and my mom went to get a pedicure too!  Their chairs leaned back so I was good!

Then after that we picked up some Chinese food!  Got it to go and went back home and had a good lunch!  Thanks momma!!  I love you!  Thank you for ALL you do!!

So an update on bed rest......it's going OK so far... I watch Netflix!  Lately my show has been Take Home Chef!  I've been learning how too cook all kinds of stuff....for when I have time after my lil monkeys are born!  HA!  I take naps on and off during the day which is good for the babies!  I am starting to get uncomfortable at night when I sleep.....that and getting up to go to the bathroom like 2 to 3 times a night! 
GOOD NEWS!!  Hubby got another RAISE!!  Thank you Jesus!
I scheduled my maternity pictures!  so excited about that! Amy is gonna come to the house! Not what I wanted but I cant get out to take pictures now that I am on bed rest!  I have a friend whos gonna do my hair and makeup!  Thanks Amanda!  You rock!

sono appointment

So My follow up sonogram appointment went really good!  The babies are doing good! He checked my cervix and it looks a lot better than last week!  Thank you Jesus!  He said the bed and couch should be my best friends!  they are lol!  I go to my OB Dr. next Wednesday... so I'll let yall know how that goes. 
The girl has been kicking and punching me.  I can feel the boy move but he hasn't kicked or punched me yet.lol

My Aunt Carolyn is gonna come see me tomorrow! I can't wait!

April showers bring May flowers

So my April appointment come around and we go.  Everything is fine :)

I joined the Plano Area Moms of Multiples that my friend Heather Cox told me about.  My first meeting was in March.  They have separate classes and I am in the Expectant mothers class.  There was a lady that was from Lone Star Baby in Frisco, TX.  She brought a double stroller, breast pump, mattress, and a few other things.  Then everyone came together for a big meeting.  They have alot of members! Mother's of Twins, Triplets, Quads, and Singletons too!  The speaker was a Police officer and he talked about safety around the house. 
April 16th was the big semi annual sale for PAMOM!  Of course I was there!  I got the babies mattresses, some clothes, shoes, a single stroller, a few bottles and the breastfeeding pillow! 
We also found the stroller and car seats on craigslist!

April 26th was me and hubby's 3 year wedding Anniversary!  So we went on a little trip to Arkansas for a few days!  We stopped at the Cliff house Inn and had lunch and man it was good! We visited Daniel's old neighbors from when he was a kid.  We went to Eureka Springs to walk around and enjoy all the little shops.  We found a really good Hot Dog place too!  We had fun in Branson, Mo and we went to Silver Dollar City!  Boy was that a lot of walking! We saw a bunch of shows and had some yummy food and ice cream! 

 We went through this town called Flippin!  We had to stop and take a pic!  Haha

Me and my mom went to lunch with my Aunt Carolyn, we have not seen her in forever!  We celebrated my birthday, my mom's birthday and Mother's day all in one day!  We found some stuff for the church baby shower too!!  We found some cute outfits too!

May 7th is my birthday and we had a family dinner at my parents house.  My mom make her famous Enchiladas, guacamole and cheese dip!  I got some money, shirts, a picture frame for my babies, and some purple knives for my kitchen.  My friend Amber got me a cute shirt that says Mommy to be, candles, and a friend sign :) thanks Amber!

Then I had a sonogram appointment Monday May 9th.  Hubby had to work so my mom went with me.  The babies are doing awesome! Baby A - boy is 15 oz and Baby B -girl is 1 pound 2 ounces. 
After he checked the babies he checked my cervix.  The Dr. noticed that my cervix wasn't completely closed.  It scared me immediately!  He explained to us that I could have a procedure done that would fix it.  I was scared that it would effect the babies, but they were doing fine he said!   He told me I would have to be on bed rest until they were born. Very emotional appointment for me!  So they called my Ob Dr. and she was in surgery so me and mom waited around to hear from her.  They told me to go home and relax and I would be admitted to the hospital later that afternoon.  So me and mom went home and had lunch then went to my apartment and packed a bag for the hospital.  Later that afternoon my OB Dr. called me and told me to go to the hospital.  So mom drove me and I was admitted like at 4 that afternoon.  First thing they did was put that stupid IV in my hand....If you don't know me....I absolutely HATE needles!! Then right as they were finishing that a guy from the lab came to take blood.....grrr.  I had the surgery the next morning at like 7:30.  I was so nervous!  The last time I was in the hospital for surgery was when I was like 2 or 3 getting my tonsils out! They put me to sleep for the surgery.  When I woke up I was in pain and when I am in pain I am really cranky ( according to my mom .)  That day I went to the bathroom every hour to 30 minutes.  Up and down all day! The next day I was in a little pain but not as bad as the day of surgery.  I got to go home on thursday May 12th!  Me and hubby live in an apartment in Prosper on the 3rd floor.  So since hubby works all day we moved in with my parents so my mom takes care of me....brings me food and things I need while hubby is working all day.  Thank you momma!! My next sonogram appointment is May 17th....so I will let yall know how it goes!
So far it's been 3 days on bed rest.  Thank goodness we have Netflix!  I watch movies, read magazines, and facebook of course.  So that's why I started this blog to keep me busy.

Lets have a BABY!

So last year we decided we wanted to start a family.  We tried for about 5 or 6 months or so.  In January I started feeling some symptoms, so I took a pregnancy test.  It was negative, then a week or so it was positive!!  I am pregnant!  I was crying and excited all at the same time. 

So then I went to Walmart and bought a poster board, a pink outfit and blue outfit, and a pink and blue sharpees.  I went back to our apartment and made a poster for hubby and put it on the wall for him to see when he got home from work!  He was soo EXCITED!!!  He picked me up and hugged me for a long time!  We are gonna be PARENTS!!!

The next morning I called the OB Dr. and set up and appointment for February 9th!  I had to wait about about a week to go to the Dr. and man it felt like FOREVER!!

One night we were at my parents for my cousins Santiago's birthday.  We were all sitting watching tv, so we thought it was the perfect time to tell my family!  So I busted out saying " Well everyone one I have something to say!"  "I'm PREGNANT!!"  Everyone was sooo happy!!  My mom starts crying instantly!!  My family is soooo excited!!!

The next night we wanted to drive to Daniel's parents house, but the ice storm hit so we had to keep it a secret from them for a few days.  When we finally made it to their house we told them they were going to be grandparents again ( Dan's brother has a little girl) they were sooooo excited!!!! 

We are soo BLESSED to have the best family!!

So Feburary 9 th came along.  The appointment was like at 1:30 or so.  So hubby picked me up from work and we went together! We were so excited!!!  I had to fill out some paperwork and give them my insurance card and liscense and I payed the copay.  Thank you Jesus we have insurance!

So they called us in and they took my blood pressure and temp.  Then went into the sonogram room!  First they did an outer sonogram and saw the baby but not very clear, so they did an internal sonogram.  Then the nurse looked at me and said " Do you see what I see?"  I said there's 2!! She said "yep!" I started freaking out and crying, but it was happy tears!  Hubby ran over and held my hand and he was really quiet and had a HUGE smile on his face!  He was taking it all in!  I kept saying OMG we are having TWINS!  The nurse told us that they were fraternal twins cause they have seperate sacks.  So then we went to see the Dr.  She just went over some general things like prenatals to take and what to eat/ not eat while I am pregnant.  She told me she wanted me to see a special sonogram Dr. since they are twins to regulate their growth and development.   Then I made my next appointment for march! 

So then we went to my parents house and showed my mom the sonogram!  Immediately she started screaming at the top of her lungs! She said "I knew it!"  We were both crying we were soo happy!  I know my parents will be the best grandparents ever!   Then hubby took me back to work and I told everyone at work!   
The next night we drove to Daniel's parents and showed them the sono and they were soo happy!  At first they didn't understand that it was twins so we had to explain it to them.....lol

I went for my March appointment and the Dr. told me that I could not lift more than 15 pounds.  So therefore, my job told me I could not work as long as I have a lifting restriction.  Thankfully they are letting me keep the insurance, I just make payments to them every 2 weeks.  So then I started staying home every day.  I spent my days watching movies, cleaning and doing laundry.  I would visit my mom some days and we would go shopping and have lunch together!!
